Reading the various information on the new Liveware 2.0-2.1 update
I notice that all talk say that the Auto-EA utility automatically
sets your selected Environment when it detects a particular program starting. In fact, Auto-EA changes from one Environment to another whenever you change focus from one program to another.
I have setup the following:
- Playcenter with the "Hall" environment.
- Willowphone with a custom setup called "Speakerphone"
(Willowphone is a speakerphone program that "pops" up when the
phone rings.)
- Adobe Premire with an environment which enables line-in.
When I launch "Premire" Auto-EA sets the correct environment.
If I launch "Playcenter" the environment automatically changes
to "Hall", when the phone rings and "Willowphone" comes up,
that environment turns off effects and puts wave and midi
volumes to 40% and speakerphone to 100%.
As I switch from program to program the environment changes.
I used to end up with speakerphone trouble because the presets all mute the TAD and when I answered the phone I couldn't hear anyone. Now, the "Speakerphone" environment automatically adjusts everything for me.
